Kenko R64 filters are widely used in Japan as "H-alpha" filters for monochrome CCD (or for
the Luminance channel in LRGB imaging) and emulsion imaging (usually with Kodak Tech
Pan). The red passband emphasizes H-alpha emission nebulae, reduces sky-glow, and
sharpens the performance of lenses which may not bring all colors to perfect focus at the
same point.

WARNING: These filters are not suitable for solar viewing or solar photography.
