New Baader Filters New Baader Filters.

Two New Filters From Baader Planetarium. Oxygen III Filter & UHC-S Filter.

Baader UHC-S High Transmission Nebula Filter - Emphazising the true stellar colours. A new generation of light pollution reduction/nebula filter. Our unique "golden mean" design transmits sufficient light for even small aperture telescopes while preserving the high contrast of traditional UHC (Ultra High Contrast) filters. Exactly tailored to block off all of the common street light emissions. The sensible alternative to all previous generations of Deep Sky and UHC filters both visually and photographically. Even a one hour bath in boiling water won't degrade these filters. All are absolutely scratch proof and can be subjected to frequent cleaning without worry.

Baader Narrowband O-III Filter - The professional nebula filter. The non plus ultra for visual deep-sky observers, offering the highest performance of all nebula filters, especially under extremely light polluted skies. Amomg the narrowest transmission band O-III filters on the market, ideally suited for CCD imaging thanks to its unsurpassed contrast. No image degradation is perceptible even at the highest magnifications. Features the same ultra hard, extremely durable vacuum-deposited dielectric coatings employed on the UHC filter. The Baader O-III filter effectively blocks the entire visual spectrum with the exception of the O -III transmission line, eliminating the annoying coloured halos surrounfing stars that often appear through O-III filters manufactured by means of less sophisticated coating technology.
