This affordable set of 1.25” telescope eyepiece filters will help reveal subtle features of the largest planet in our solar system. Jupiter has fascinated astronomers for hundreds, if not thousands of years, thanks in part to it being the third brightest object in the night sky (after the Moon and Venus). Now, with this thorough set of 1.25” eyepiece filters, you can enhance your views of the Jovian giant easily, without spending a lot. These specially selected color filters will make views of Jupiter better through any telescope used in any location, whether you’re in the city or a dark sky location.

Six 1.25” telescope eyepiece filters are included: three of which are in the blue spectrum (#38A, 82A, and 80A Blue filters), two yellow filters (#11 and #12 Yellow) and a single green spectra filter (#56A). In general, the three blue filters will enhance views of the equatorial belts, the storm of the Great Red Spot, and increases detail in the bright zones of Jupiter. The two yellow filters help to increase contrast of fleeting Jovian festoons observed in the equatorial zone, and the green filter significantly boosts equatorial belt contrast.
