Here's a nifty little equatorial mount for small telescopes that makes a perfect stargazing companion for campouts and trips. It's our all-metal EQ-1 equatorial head perched on three thread-on legs, complete with counterweight, dual slow-motion cables, latitude adjustment, and 1/4"-20 camera adapter. Set it on a park bench or large rock, or even on your car's hood for an impromptu scan of the heavens. Also makes a terrific tracking platform for wide-field astrophotography with a DSLR or 35mm film camera! Height ~14", weighs 10 lbs., 5 oz.

7826 EQ-M Electronic Drive System These precision 6-volt mini-motors will power any telescope on an Orion Min-EQ, EQ-1, EQ- 2, or AstroView equatorial mounts, providing regulated sidereal-rate tracking of celestial objects. Systems includes motor, battery pack for four D cells (not included), and pushbutton hand controller. Handcontroller has 2x and 8x speeds. Suitable for guided astrophotography.
