We're proud to follow our tradition of producing the finest flat field, wide angle telescopes and eyepieces by intoducing DIOPTRX to ideally overcome the limitations of eyesight astigmatism.

For the person who has to wear eyeglasses to correct astigmatism, this is the final optical correction giving them the ultimate celestial viewing. They will now be able to view the skies unobstructed by frames, scratched glasses, uncoated lenses and awkward head positions.

Tele Vue DIOPTRX is designed to fit directly over the top of many of our eyepieces and offers the specific astigmatism correction needed. DIOPTRX rotates for fine adjustment in varying eye positions to give the sharpest, clearest viewing possible.

DIOPTRX works with the following Tele Vue eyepieces:

Plössl - 55, 40, 32mm Radian - 18, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3mm Panoptic - 41, 35, 27, 22mm Nagler Type 4 - 22, 17, 12mm Nagler Type 5 - 31, 26mm
