Nelson Quick Connect

Developed to allow telescope users to attach astronomical accessories to their
Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCT) with increased speed and efficiency, the Nelson Quick
Connect device dramatically decreases the amount of time it takes to attach accessories.
While it
takes 10-12 seconds to attach an accessory using the conventional method, it takes only 2
seconds with the Nelson Quick Connect . It also takes less than a second to remove an
accessory from the telescope instead of approximately 7 seconds as with the conventional
method.

The Nelson Quick Connect device will also save wear and tear on the threads of both the
telescope and make it much easier to attach accessories in the dark. Simply attach Unit A
to the
telescope and a B Unit to each of the telescope's accessories. The accessories are then
quickly
connected by inserting the B unit into the A unit and turning, locking it into place.
