The Imaging Source develops and manufactures hardware and software for text and image
processing applications.

Originally, our components were used exclusively by developers and engineers in industry,
medicine and science. Our FireWire CCD cameras are universally known in these sectors.
They are deployed in all technological regions of the world.

... and Astronomy
Due to the wide spread deployment of our FireWire cameras in the aforementioned sectors,
other communities have come to show interest in our products. In particular, amateur
astronomers have started realizing the advantages of our CCD cameras and are deploying
them for astrophotography.
