costly models are considered inferior. Orion's Terra 18 - 36x60 Zoom Spotting Scope,
however, is designed for daytime observers who don't equate being thrifty with being cheap.
The 60mm objective lens is fully coated and large enough to produce crisp, bright images.
The magnification range, as the name suggests, provides ample panoramas at 18x (2.3¦) and
an in-your-face view at 36x (1.6¦). Birders can track a whooping crane in flight, then, once it
perches, zoom in and check out its plumage! The Terra 18 - 36x60 package includes mini-
tripod, padded case (which holds both scope and tripod), and a 35mm camera adapter
(optional T-rings available). You can easily switch the Terra from its mini-tripod with the built-
in 1/4" - 20 adapter plate.
